Turtle Creek Veteran's Day Video Assistance

This year Turtle Creek will be creating a Veteran’s Day video and we need your help.

Do you have a family member that is a veteran? Please email Johnathan Kim at [email protected] with a picture of the veteran or the veteran with your student, the Veteran’s Name, Branch of Service, and Rank.

If your student is in the picture you can add their name as well. All pictures and names will be added to our slideshow and video that will be posted to our social media as well as viewed by the students on Veteran’s Day.

Please have all pictures in by November 1st 2024. Thank you!

Woodland Hills partners with Metro Communitiy Health Center to bring healthcare services to families

We are excited to announce an important new partnership between Metro Community Health Center (MCHC) and the Woodland Hills School District to bring healthcare services to our students and their families. MCHC, a non-profit organization serving all ages and backgrounds, regardless of income, insurance status, or the ability to pay, will provide healthcare services directly to our school community. This collaboration will offer medical care, regular check-ups, and much more, emphasizing the link between health and academic success.

Woodland Hills partners with multiple school districts, Special Olympics Pennsylvania for unified robotics program

The Woodland Hills School District has partnered with multiple school districts in Western Pennsylvania as well as Special Olympics Pennsylvania to develop a unified robotics program and competition. On Wednesday, September 18, educators from those school districts met at Woodland Hills High School for a day of professional development that focused on how to build and develop the programs in each of their school districts.
